Trying to Trust part 3

A quick re-cap:

"Fine, I won't tell. This is our little secret." We walked back to the house, neglecting to see Alex hiding under the table.

Trying to Trust

part 3

Alex's Pov

They had found out! I can't believe it. But I had a plan to get back, Lea's journal.
"I know its here," I whispered, "but where?"
I had checked the bookshelf, the bins, and all but under the mattress. Slowly lifting the mattress up, I spotted the colorful book.
Snatching it up, I heard Lea walking in. Leaping behind the bed, I hoped she wouldn't see me.
"Literally! Josie! Some one messed up my room again!"
"Sorry! I can't hear you! You'll have to come here," She called.
Lea walked out of the room and headed downstairs.
This was my chance! I ran straight out of the room like a man on fire.

Lea's Pov

"I can't believe it! I really can't." I muttered. Some one took my diary.
And I knew who did. Running out of my room, I hurriedly checked all the rooms, hoping to find the perp.
But alas, he wasn't to be found. The last pace to check was the deck.
Running down the hall, I headed towards the deck door. Stopping in my tracks, I saw Alex talking to someone.
Slipping through the door, I heard snippets of their conversation.
The coins! The stolen coins!

Stay tuned for part 3

Until then... -Carlye

Trying to Trust Part 2

Let's do a quick recap:

He was... he was...

Trying to trust

Part 2

Lea's POV

I had to tell some one what I knew!

Kat! She knew how to keep a secret. Kat slinked into the room like a cat stalking its prey.

"Kat!" I stood up, walking towards her.

"Shhhh.... I'm a ninja."

"I have something to tell you that can't be spilled to anyone."

"I know a great place," She answered grabbing my arm and dragging me away.

Kat's POV

The deck is always the best place for rendezvous.
"Alright, spill."

"Okay, you know that person that stole those ancient coins? It was Alex!"

"Wait, back up a sec. Alex?!?"

"He has a hat and trench coat. Also, I'd know those blue eyes anywhere," She continued.

"No!" Lea grabbed my arm and held me back. "We're not telling anyone. I repeat, no one."

"Fine, I won't tell. This is our little secret." We walked back to the house, neglecting to see Alex hiding under the table.

Part 3 coming soon....

Until later... bye!

I was bored and decided to make a mock-up cover.

By the way, I do not own any of these photos. They are off the internet.

About a Week Recap of What I've Been Doing While Away (Even Though I Didn't Go Anywhere)

So, where have I been?
Research. Lots of it.

(photos are at the bottom of the page. And yes, they are out of order)

Dec. 9

I worked on my plot outline. It mainly was answering questions about your plot and stuff like that. After about 3 hours, I got bored and filmed. It was super cold and I was freezing, but I finished a scene I was procrastinating over. After filming, (I have a really busy Saturday) I went to library and picked out books about ninjas and samurai. They had this super cute tree there and being a photographer, I naturally took photos.

Dec. 10

I worked all day on my video and didn't get any research done. *sob sob*

Dec. 11

It was 9:30 and I had just finished a chapter about something or other. I was thinking in my head, I'll go bed after I note a this next chapter.
So I flip through the pages and find the end, page 99. I was on page 78.
Wow, that is a lot of pages. Maybe I'll just split it in half. Or do the entire thing tomorrow.
Guess what I ended up doing?
Going to sleep and noting the pages after school the next day.

Dec. 12

We had a field trip and on the drive I took advantage of the free time. I literally took notes.
My class gave me weird looks, but I didn't care. Authors always get looks.
We stopped at a park for lunch and I took pictures with my friend.

Dec. 13

Guys! I literally took legit research. Not the sitting at the desk part, but physical. The samurai's were skilled archers, so I did archery.
Here's the story, my sister and dad both like archery and they practice often in the backyard. Every Wednesday or so, they go to this place were you practice. So I went along for the research.
For someone who isn't skilled at sports, (you don't want to watch me attempt to hit a baseball,)
I did pretty good.

You know it's well wore when
